Experience: Mr. Hejl has over twenty-five years of experience in project management and coordination related to a broad range of projects in engineering, planning, design, surveying, budgeting, scheduling and construction. He has been engaged primarily in public works system planning and facility design and management activities, and has been responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of design teams. City of Austin. Austin Clean Water Program Upper Tannehill Cameron Broadmoor Wastewater Line Replacement; Southwest MUD pressure integration and optimization; Designed approximately 5 miles of 36” to 48” Harris Branch wastewater interceptor. Bastrop County. Assist County in developing floodplain management plan, perform subdivision plat and site plan review for land development projects, assisted in FM535 (Pierce Lane) ROW acquisition, performed countywide roadway inventory and evaluation. Bastrop County Water Control & Improvement District No. 2. Perform roadway and drainage master plan; Design of re-aligning, widening and improving existing roadway sections and drainage of approximately 20,000 LF of roadways. City of Buckholts. Water Distribution System Improvements and 100,000 gallon standpipe improvements. Design of approximately 2,500 LF of street improvements.
Cameron County. TCDP Colonia Planning Grant to assist county in platting two illegal subdivisions (colonias). City of Cedar Park.- New Hope Road water line improvements. Approximately 4,000 LF of Cypress Creek roadway and drainage Improvements. Evaluation of off-site flow, determined alternative drainage channel designs and provided cost estimates for Lobo Drainage Channel. Design of approximately 2,500 LF of Bagdad Road improvements. City of Granger. Street and Drainage Improvements. Design of 3,500 LF of curb and gutter streets. Prepare computerized water and wastewater maps. Water Distribution Improvements. Lift Station evaluation and rehabilitation improvements
Hamilton County. Installation of concrete box culverts, improve roadway approaches and channel improvement of Honey Creek. City of Hays. EPA Step 1 wastewater analysis. Funded by Advance Application Grant, including EPA Environmental Information Document with final issuance of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). Hays County. Approximately 550 L.F. of 6" water line for Ace in the Hills, funded by the Texas Capital Fund program. City of Holland. 200,000 gpd wastewater treatment plant and a dual 500-gpm submersible pump lift station. Perform environmental assessment. 100,000 gallon water storage tank and booster pump station. Wastewater collection system improvements replacing approximately 80% of system. 100,000 gallon elevated water storage improvements. Perform street improvement plans, prepare city aerial maps. City of Hutto. 100,000 gallon elevated water storage improvements; Design of water distribution improvements; Assistance with TWC wastewater permit amendment. Street and drainage master plan. Street and drainage CIP Improvements of approximately 22,000 LF of re-aligning, widening and improving existing roadway sections. 4,000 gallon ground storage tank, approximately 22,000 LF of 8" water line. Assist city in negotiating agreement for alternative water resource.
City of Kyle. EPA Step 1 wastewater system analysis funded in part by Advance Application Program, including EPA Environmental Information Document with final issuance of Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). City of Llano. Designed approximately 7,400 L.F. of wastewater lines to provide first time sewer service. Performed engineering design of 100 gpm lift station. Performed limited engineering evaluation to install wastewater facilities in southwest Llano.
City of Martindale. Designed approximately 5,000 L.F. of wastewater lines to provide first time sewer connection. Designed lift station and wastewater treatment plant improvements. City of Moulton. Collection System Improvements located throughout areas within the City. City of Murchison. EPA (NPDES) & TWC wastewater permit renewal. Design of 100,000 gallon water storage tank. Sludge drying bed expansion. Construction of a water well, 125,000 gallon ground storage tank, 3,000 gallon pressure tank, 2,000' of transmission line, chlorination facility. Perform water well resource evaluation and development.
City of Penelope Design of two submersible pump (grinder) lift stations. City of Richmond. EPA Step 1 wastewater system analysis funded by Advance Application Program. Prepare computerized water system mapping. Flood Study for Rabbs Bayou watershed. City of Riesel. Wastewater treatment plant lagoon dredging and sludge disposal. City of Rockdale. Wastewater collection system study and improvement projects.
City of Sunset Valley. Design of emergency water line interconnect and 8" master meter to City of Austin’s system. Perform water system master plan and capital improvement program. Develop land use map. City of Taylor. Perform infiltration/inflow evaluation. Perform Fourth Street wastewater improvement. Prepare computerized water and wastewater system maps. Perform North Lynn wastewater system improvement. Design Rice's Crossing lift station rehabilitation. City of Thrall. Water Distribution System Improvements and 100,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Improvements funded by TDHCA’s CDBG Program. Wastewater System Improvements funded by FmHA and EPA. Construction of new wastewater service lines, collection system and treatment plant. Water transmission line improvements to connect with City of Taylor.
Maverick County. Colonia Water/Wastewater Study for Quemado funded by TWDB’s EDAP. Lago Vista Street and Drainage Improvements and Colonia Comprehensive Planning Study, funded by TDHCA’s CDBG Program. Water Treatment Plant Improvement Project funded by FmHA. Limited evaluation of raw water source and availability. Las Brisas and Las Quintas wastewater connections and platting. City of Port Isabel. Prepared computerized land use and zoning maps.
