Project Description: This project was proposed as a part of the downtown pedestrian friendly sidewalk and access ramp improvements funded by the Downtown Alliance utilizing Tax Increment Finance (TIF) program to boost local businesses and provide alternative pedestrian mobility options.
Service Provided: The firm served as a subconsultant to assist the City in observing and coordinating construction activities; provided on-site field engineering design, performed construction inspection, prepared daily field report, coordinated on roadway closure and detour, coordinated with neighborhood associations, communicated with Capital Metro buses, verified work in compliance with ADA requirement, checked job site safety practice, affirmed proper functioning of erosion and sedimentation control measures, identified defected work items, coordinated on utility valves, vaults, and manhole adjustment, directed on storm sewer inlet relocation and drainage flume installation, addressed drainage issues from adjacent properties, resolved cross walk striping concerns, attended periodic project progress meetings, responded to Request for Information, coordinated with contractor and inspector on project change orders and pay request, performed punch list walk thru, and assisted in project close out.
Project Description: This project is the initial park improvement implemented by the city through grant from the Texas Park & Wildlife Department (TPWD) and the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA). The improvements include the construction of two parks and connected them with a concrete trail system. The major items of the improvement include pavilion, restrooms, basketball courts, volleyball courts, playscape, picnic stations, three baseball fields, concession stand, reflection pond, water and wastewater services.
Work performed: Coordinated with the goetechnical consultant to perform subsurface investigation to assess existing soil condition to provide foundation design fro facilities and structures; conducted topographic survey to locate existing topographic feature; performed drainage calculation to determine anticipated surface runoff, coordinated with structure, electrical, and mechanical engineers in designing facility structures, designed drainage channels, coordinated with utility providers on locating existing utilities; prepared site grading plan, prepared technical specifications and bid documents, performed engineer’s estimate; coordinated with TPWD on project budget and design issues; coordinated with Union Pacific Railroad and TxDOT on trail crossing ROW issues; assisted the city in advertise and bid the project; conducted bid opening; reviewed contractor’s qualifications, prepared bid tabulation, recommended contract award and prepared contract document; performed periodic site observation, reviewed shop submittal, pay request, prepared change order, conducted punch list walk thru, assisted in project close out, and prepared record drawings.
Project Description: This project includes the relocation of two-abandoned county steel truss bridge to city parks for pedestrian use for crossing Cottonwood Creek and low water crossing as an enhancement the park facility. Installation of TEA-21 Trail to establish the initial trail system within the City.

Project Description: This project was implemented as an on-going multi-year roadway pavement maintenance program to maintain and extend the service life of the pavement surface within residential subdivisions.

Maverick County Seco Mines Colonia Drainage Improvements
Project Description: This project was proposed to reconstruct existing box culvert crossing Seco Creek and perform adjacent roadway approaches to alleviate drainage and roadway access issues. Project was funded by the Texas Department of Rural Affairs with supplement funding from the Texas Department of Transportation under colonia access fund.
Service Provided: Gathered and reviewed available as-built plans, records, report, conducted field topographic survey, coordinated with geotechnical in subsurface investigation, reviewed recommended pavement design, met with City of Eagle Pass on existing utility relocation and associated costs, verified utility conflicts, prepared technical memorandum, coordinated with residents and grant administrator, identified easement requirement, prepared field notes, assisted county in securing easements, performed street and drainage design, prepared plans and technical specifications, performed project quantity take-off, provided engineer’s opinion of probable cost estimate, assembled bid documents, recommended county on contract award, reported to Commissioners’ Court on project progress, attended periodic project progress meetings, responded to Request for Information, coordinated with contractor and inspector on project change orders and pay requests, performed punch list walk thru, and assisted in project close out.
City of Hutto Fritz Park Parking Improvements
Project Description: This project is a part of the on-going improvement to the Fritz Park in north Hutto by providing approximately 77 asphalt parking spaces to facilitate the parking needs for the park attendees. Also included is the drainage ditch along the perimeter of the parking lot to convey surface runoff to adjacent drainage facilities.

City of Austin Southwest MUD Integration & Optimization, Austin, Texas
Project Description: Integration of different water pressure planes among the city’s water system and municipal utility districts in southwest Austin as a part of the city’s 1997 annexation water/wastewater improvement project. Installation of pressure reducing valve vaults, removal of ten existing master meters and pressure reducing valves, installed solar powered remote monitoring systems.

Project Description: This project is a part of the city’s downtown pedestrian access improvement funded by the Texas Capital Fund (TCF) for concrete sidewalk and lighting improvements in north side of Llano River to enhance accessibility among river bridge, museum, and rail depot. It includes approximately 1,000 LF of 5’ concrete sidewalk improvements and 10 streetlights installation, and minor landscape improvements.
Work performed: Coordinated with the TxDOT on adjacent project schedule, and connection; investigated existing utilities and drainage facilities within project area; coordinated with land surveyor on topographic survey to locate existing topographic feature; performed drainage calculation; designed inlets and culvert to covey surface runoff; coordinated with utility providers on locating existing utilities; prepared sidewalk and
